L’anello ricalca in maniera delicatamente pop le forme del copricapo attribuito, nell’antica iconografia egiziana, all’ allegoria del dio Anubis, il nume protettore del mondo dei morti, rappresentato come uomo dalla testa di cane, lupo o sciacallo. I due triangoli che cingono lateralmente il dito non sono nient’altro che le orecchie della divinità teriomorfa mentre la pietra centrale rappresenta l’elemento innovativo, una sorta di “star gate” tra passato e futuro!
The ring delicately echoes the shape of the headdress attributed, in ancient Egyptian iconography, to the allegory of the god Anubis, the protector of the world of the dead, represented as a man with the head of a dog, wolf or jackal. The two triangles that encircle the finger on either side are none other than the ears of the theriomorphic deity, while the central stone represents the innovative element, a sort of “star gate” between the past and the future!
